My Dear Readers:

I wanted to let you know why I haven’t written anything new over the past week.  My dog died.  It is that simple or maybe not so simple.

Shadoe was our 14.5 year old German Shep/Lab.  My husband gave her to me on our first married Christmas.  She has been my faithful companion and over the past couple of years refused to leave my side.  And in all honesty, I didn’t leave her side unless I really had to go somewhere.

I am not a stress eater so I haven’t set foot in the kitchen or thought about food in days.  I’m hoping as I get used to my new quiet that I will be back doing what I love to do and sharing it with all of you.
